Practical tips for the effective use of medicinal and aromatic plants
Known for thousands of years in the healing traditions of the planet, the administration of medicinal and aromatic plants in the form of sublingual powder can now be considered a very effective, simple and practical method.
When we want to take full advantage of the therapeutic effects and also the pleasant and healthy taste of some medicinal and aromatic plants, it is recommended to grind them finely with an electric grinder until they become powder or to use the fine powder from dried plants which is usually obtained by mechanical centrifugation.
We then put the powder of the plant under the tongue or chew it for a few minutes, then swallow it with a little plain water or mineral water. We can repeat this simple procedure, usually 2 to 4 times a day, preferably before eating, when we are on an empty stomach.
For example, to improve our digestion, we can use a teaspoonful of basil leaf powder, sage leaves, mint leaves, thyme, marjoram, watercress or St. John's wort before each meal. The powder from one or more of these herbs is then held under the tongue or chewed for a few minutes. Doing this will immediately increase your appetite and soon afterwards improve your digestion considerably.
It is recommended that in the case of cures that are included in certain natural treatments, when more than one herb or herbal medicine is indicated, no more than 5 herbs should be combined in one administration. For maximum effectiveness of this form of administration, it is recommended that medicinal plants be administered in combinations of 5 plants in succession.
So, for example, if we have a combination of 10 plants, we will first use a mixture of 5 of them and then, at a time interval of about 10-
