In 2020, Ayurveda Day is the fifth annual celebration in India and the third annual celebration in Romania.

The celebration of Ayurveda Day in Romania was started at the initiative of the Embassy of India in Bucharest and was organized annually by AMN-Romania within the framework of the bilateral project entitled "Ayurveda in Romania", a project initiated in 2018 through AMN-Romania following the visit of His Excellency Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu, Vice-President of the Republic of India.
