ANNUAL AYURVEDA CONTEST FEBRUARY 2016
On Saturday, February 13, 2016, starting at 15.00, the International Ayurveda Competition 2016 will be held in unison in several locations in Romania and other countries. In Bucharest, the Ayurveda Competition 2016 will be held at the Obor Classroom, Oteșani 16, sector 2.
The International Ayurveda Competition consists of 6 specific tests, each of which has more than one paper, testing the mastery of the three main types of ways of knowing that are described within the millennia-old tradition of Ayurveda: theoretical knowledge (apta), knowledge through perception (pratyaksha) and knowledge through deduction (anumana).
The programme of the International Ayurveda Competition 2016 is as follows:
15.00-15.30 Entrance to the halls (in Bucharest the entrance will be at the Obor lecture hall).
15.30-16.30 Registration for the competition (registration is done on the lists of each locality)

16.45-17.15 Test 1 (30 minutes): Ayurvedic knowledge test (apta)

17.30-18.00 Test 2 (30 minutes): Test of Ayurvedic knowledge and deduction (apta-anumana)
18.00-18.15 Break
18.15-18.45 Test 3 (30 minutes): Test of Ayurvedic knowledge and perceptions (apta-pratyaksha)

19.00-19.30 Test 4 (30 minutes): Test of perceptions and intelligence (pratyaksha-anumana)

19.45-20.15 Test 5 (30 minutes): Intelligence and deduction test (anumana)

All students of Ayurveda courses are invited to participate in this competition., from the first year of the course, including those who are
The 4th, 5th and 6th rounds are open to all those who wish to participate and who have a minimum basic knowledge of Ayurveda, even if they are not currently attending Ayurveda courses.
Registration for events numbers 4, 5 and 6 takes place both at the beginning of the competition, directly in the hall, and during the breaks before the respective events. Registrations can also be received by e-mail
The competition is structured according to four groups of participants:
Group 1: Ayurveda Year 1 students who graduated from Ayurveda Year 1 in August 2015 as well as those who have completed the first year of Ayurveda.
Group 2: 2nd year Ayurveda students who graduated from Ayurveda 2nd year in August 2015 or who have completed two years of Ayurveda in the previous years
Group 3: 3rd year Ayurveda students who graduated from the 3rd year of Ayurveda in August 2015 or who have completed three years of Ayurveda in the previous years
Group 4: Ayurveda students who are older than the 4th year of the course and who have completed the corresponding year of the Ayurveda course in August 2015, as well as those who have completed a minimum of four years of the Ayurveda course in previous years
