Sushruta

The sage Sushruta is a true model of an inspired divine Ayurvedic practitioner, who has provided a wealth of sound practical remedies for maintaining human health and healing human beings in the most difficult situations of illness.

Sushruta combined theoretical knowledge with practical skills in an exemplary manner and thus helped many human beings, both during his earthly existence and afterwards, through the extremely valuable knowledge he offered -or Ayurvedic practitioners. The sage Sushruta represents the Ayurvedic school of Dhanvantari and is considered, within the Ayurvedic tradition, to be the father of Ayurvedic surgery, being known as the author of the famous Ayurvedic work "Sushruta-samhita".

Sushruta work-Samhita indicates that herbs act on the decisive changes that occur at the bodily level and provides an appropriate direction for understanding the beneficial effects that medicinal herbs generate through the transformations they bring about at the level of the main resonators in the human being.
