The International Ayurveda Competition 2023, organised online by AMN-Romania in collaboration with DMIMS(DU)-India, will be held in two stages. The tests and the competition programme are available in Romanian and English.

Stages of the Competition

Stage 1

Date: 05 August 2023, between 10:45 and 13:45 (Romanian time)

Stage content:

1. Intelligence test (anumana) with 10 questions
2. Perception and intelligence test (pratyaksha-anumana) with 3 tests
3. Perception test (pratyaksha) with 3 samples

Stage 1 programme:

• 10:45 - 11:05: Introductory presentation and registration
• 11:05 - 11:15: Preparation for the intelligence test (anumana)
• 11:15 - 11:45: Intelligence test (anumana)
• 11:45 - 11:55: Completion of answers to the intelligence test (anumana)
• 11:55 - 12:00: Preparation for the test of perception and intelligence (pratyaksha-anumana)
• 12:00 - 12:30: Test of perception and intelligence (pratyaksha-anumana)
• 12:30 - 12:40: Completion of answers to the perception and intelligence test (pratyaksha-anumana)
• 12:40 - 12:45: Preparation for the perception test (pratyaksha)
• 12:45 - 13:15: Perception test (pratyaksha)
• 13:15 - 13:25: Completion of answers to the perception test (pratyaksha)
• 13:25 - 13:45: Summary of stage 1

Stage 2

Date: 12 August 2023, between 10:45 and 13:45 (Romanian time)

Stage content:

1. Ayurvedic knowledge test (apta) with 23 questions
2. Ayurvedic knowledge and perception test (apta-pratyaksha) with 3 tests
3. Ayurvedic knowledge and intelligence test (apta-anumana) with 23 questions

Stage 2 programme:

Registration

To register, participants should send an email to ayurvedaromania@gmail.com with their name and the email address (a Gmail address is required) they want to use in the contest. Entries can be made from 10 July 2023.

After registration, each participant will receive an email with instructions for participation. After each test, participants will submit their answers using the form received, by the time indicated in the schedule for that stage.

The tests will be sent to participants directly via the Zoom platform chat. Answers will be filled in the online form received.

Participants must have a Gmail email address to access the online forms. Gmail addresses can be created here: https://mail.google.com/

Tests 1 and 3 of the International Ayurveda Competition 2023 contain questions from specialised areas of Ayurveda. Each group of Ayurveda courses is referenced by code. The test code will also be found in the corresponding header of each competition sheet.

Participants may choose to participate in any of the specialized areas included in the Ayurveda Competition. Participation in more than one of the areas listed is permitted.
