A kutat\u00f3k felt\u00e9telezik, hogy a v\u00f6r\u00f6sr\u00e9pal\u00e9 fogyaszt\u00e1sa a v\u00f6r\u00f6sr\u00e9pa nitr\u00e1ttartalma miatt cs\u00f6kkenti az edz\u00e9s k\u00f6zbeni oxig\u00e9nfogyaszt\u00e1st. \u00cdgy a sportol\u00f3 sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra sokkal hosszabb lesz az id\u0151, miel\u0151tt f\u00e1radts\u00e1got \u00e9rez.<br \/>Az Exeteri Egyetem \u00e9s az \u00e9szak-\u00edrorsz\u00e1gi Queen's University Belfast kutat\u00f3i v\u00e9rnyom\u00e1scs\u00f6kkent\u0151 hat\u00e1st figyeltek meg emberekn\u00e9l egy \u00f3r\u00e1val 500 ml c\u00e9klal\u00e9 fogyaszt\u00e1sa ut\u00e1n. Az \u00fajdons\u00e1g ebben az ausztr\u00e1l tanulm\u00e1nyban az, hogy a c\u00e9klal\u00e9 fogyaszt\u00e1sa lehet\u0151v\u00e9 teszi - legal\u00e1bbis a f\u00e9rfiak eset\u00e9ben - a v\u00e9rnyom\u00e1s cs\u00f6kkent\u00e9s\u00e9t olyan eg\u00e9szs\u00e9ges emberekn\u00e9l, akik nem tartanak speci\u00e1lis di\u00e9t\u00e1t.
